Welcome to My Favorite Day, PLLC counseling, art therapy and immersive guided meditation. I'm Tressie Seegers, a licensed professional counselor (LPC), registered art therapist (ATR) and an immersive guided meditation facilitator. I help women build a life worth living. I hold space for my clients and meet them where they are psychologically speaking. It's interesting to see what spending intentional time on mental wellness can do. Time just for ourselves to make space for healing. We need this so we can be our most effective, happy and fulfilled self.
In individual therapy, we can learn how to become our own behavior analyst becoming more self-aware about our thoughts, urges and actions especially when it comes to stress and how we cope. I work best with those who are willing to look at how they show up in the world so they can increase their self-awareness.

We are each responsible for managing our own well-being, happiness, behaviors and emotions. My main modalities of treatment include Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness, Self-Compassion, Art Therapy and Immersive Guided Meditation.
Why is it called My Favorite Day?
The name My Favorite Day was inspired by an art therapy projective assessment called "My Favorite Kind of Day" created by Trudy Manning. Identifying and articulating what a good day looks like can be helpful when we engage in our own personal journey of life-sculpting, that is creating the life that we want to live. We are each responsible for our own happiness and inner journey.
