Welcome to My CEU Page!
I'm passionate about my specialties and so very excited to share them with you through my CEU experientials.
Art:
My first degree was in fine arts (BFA) and I lived as a full-time artist for many years before I went back to school to get a masters in art therapy and clinical mental health from Edinboro University in Edinboro, PA. I love the flexibility that being an art therapist gives me for treatment plans. I also appreciate the art therapy community in Austin, TX, we are a lively bunch!
Immersive Guided Meditation:
I sought extensive training in guided meditation because of the known scientific benefits it has on the mind, body and spirit. I wanted to be able to offer this to my clients so they could use it in their life and healing journey. It has helped me in many ways and proved valuable in my life. Because it's guided, my mind doesn't spiral into thinking about anything and everything. That's what drew me to this modality. The immersive guided meditation technique is inquiry-based, which tends to put you in touch with your still small voice of inner wisdom. We have all of the answers inside of us, we need the time and space to explore what's there.
